Levels 1 to 15 as a human or Ithreni (court elf) in the Concordat: Warrior, Priest and Mage. Humans can choose all three classes; Ithreni can choose Priest or Mage. Explore Whitmere, Lanterford Vale and Lanterhall. Since the night of 29/30 October, 40 new quests in seven local packs have joined the existing quest chains. Quests and the event in Brinescar grant reputation with Lanterhall. Alongside inns and selected home kitchens, you can enter training rooms, the lockkeeper’s house in Reedhouse, the training outpost and shop in Lanterford, and Lanterhall’s armoury and mage house. Lamp and Ledger has an upper floor and a cellar. Slackwater Mine is the five-player dungeon. Weapon and defence skills improve through use, and 48 new items for levels 1 to 15 come as quest choices and boss loot.
The alpha includes Haven and One Life. Start on Haven; One Life follows after the first alpha month. Deaths there are permanent. A death is reversed only for a proven server error at the team’s discretion.
Bugs, restarts or wipes can erase saves, characters, items and progress in whole or in part. Haven may be reset between test phases. One Life is reset only if a data error has distorted deaths, with advance notice. The alpha agreement governs these rules. Alpha agreement
Current quarter and undated plans
Intent, not a promise
“Now” is the current quarter. Later plans have no quarter assigned yet; they only carry relative timing, and their order and scope may change.
Updated:
Done
- 1 November Our own title theme with a leitmotif on login, realm choice and character creation; town music in Ambercombe, Lanterford and now Lanterhall starts sooner, with the motif woven into each town piece
- 1 November Helmet and cloak can be hidden on your own character
- 1 November Simpler sign-up: a shorter waiting-list form, clearer mails, and straight into the game after creating your character
- 1 November The quay in Lanterhall is walkable past the bridges, window light follows the shape of the windows, the world status shows the realms live again
- 1 November Less rubber-banding: position corrections are smoothed and network jitter is tolerated better; restarts are announced in chat 60 seconds ahead
- 1 November Combat: enemies of the same kind help each other, fleeing enemies fetch help; eating and drinking run at the same time
- 1 November Inns with a taproom: counter with a back shelf, tables with candles and seats for players, warm interior light instead of a milky haze

- No automatic finder that moves groups into a dungeon; no groups across realms.
- Races, classes and zones will not be sold separately.
- No flying mounts or quest arrows.
None of this is a promise. If something fails, you'll read about it here; the page won't just vanish.
