Archiv-Abschrift. Quelle im Spiel: Lanterhall, Keeping House. Wortlaut wie im Spiel (Englisch).
Seite 1
A lamp is kept, not lit. Lighting is a moment; keeping is a life. The Keeper trims the wick before it smokes, fills the oil before it runs dry, and does not ask what the light is for. That is the whole of the discipline. The rest of this book is what people have asked anyway.
Seite 2
A lamp kept for a name holds the name. Say it when you fill the oil, not before and not after. If you do not know the name, keep the lamp anyway; the lamp does not ask. The Acre has one such lamp, and it is kept.
Seite 3
On the tower lamp of Lanterhall. It was lit on the night of the Riving and has not been filled since. The College says this is a property of the oil. The Keepers say nothing, and trim nothing, and that is the correct practice.
Seite 4
On the Returned. A Returned may keep a lamp. There is no rule against it, and there will not be one while this book is in use. Light it and write it. Nothing written is lost.

How we write. Pages by the archive and the team are made with the help of AI tools, following Harald's direction and decisions; Harald reads them through. Images are made without AI, as pixel art by code and by hand. Community edits appear in the page history under their own names.
